Dear BHLL Community,
It has been two weeks since the Branham Hills Little League season was suspended and there have been many developments with the COVID-19 pandemic since. This has already become a moment in history that we will certainly never forget and our kids will probably tell the tales of.
As you are all aware, the State of California has been directed to shelter-in-place and the Santa Clara County Office of Education announced that school closures will extend through May 1, 2020. Some of you may be aware that Little League International extended their recommendation to suspend activities through May 11, 2020 worldwide.
The Branham Hills Little League season will remain suspended until local authorities indicate it is safe to resume. If the 2020 season resumes, we will make an effort to restore our regular season play to the fullest extent possible into the summer months. Little League International aligns with the idea of salvaging regular season to include ALL players rather than pushing to meet tournament play schedules including the Little League World Series.
Unfortunately, everything is so uncertain that we can't make any guarantees at this time, but we will continue to provide updates as information develops. We hope everyone is doing ok despite these circumstances. Remember to go outside, hold your family close, and be safe. We WILL get through this.
