Evaluations

PLEASE NOTE that BHLL requires each player league age 7 and over to attend an evaluation session. We do not look at these as "tryouts" as the kids are not trying out for any particular division, nor does any league age automatically tie to any particular division. We use the data from evaluations, plus what we know of a player from prior seasons and any other knowledge we can glean, to ensure the player is drafted or placed into the division where he will have the greatest chance to succeed and have fun. Note it is OPTIONAL for a league age 6 to do an evaluation. We would recommend that any player interested in advancing from Tee Ball to Single A attend an evaluation. Look for more information about evaluations to be disseminated in December. The evaluations themselves will take place in early January for League age 6-12, likely later than that for 13-15.
